This heritage is the foundation of Varsovia Hi-Fi: a contemporary collection inspired by the forms, materials and listening rituals of classic home audio.
1960s · The Starting Point
The Arizona Console,
Where Varsovia Begins
In the 1960s, Blaupunkt built the Arizona: a stereo console with a warm wooden body and a slim chromed base. Behind its restrained exterior was a complete home listening system with radio, record player and integrated loudspeakers.
Equal parts technology and furniture, the Arizona represented a moment when audio equipment became an intentional element of the interior rather than an appliance hidden away.
With the Arizona, Blaupunkt showed that innovative technology could also become a natural part of the home.

The Home Hi-Fi Years
Through the 1970s and into the 1980s, Blaupunkt’s home audio programme filled catalogue after catalogue: complete stereo systems, elegant consoles and, later, the first digital displays. A few highlights from the original brochures, each with a link to the fully digitized catalogue.

The 6000 Series
The complete Hi-Fi programme of the early seventies. Matching tuners, amplifiers, speakers and record players created a coherent, furniture-grade home audio system.
